Taking your own profile pic is so awkward :-)

You should have seen me, I had my camera set up on the tripod (could not find my remote trigger), running back and forth, trying to fling my hair like a Kardashian, whilst on timer to get this shot. Then I had to edit my own face, not fun at all.

But I digress…

I am eager to share with you about who I am. I know you’re about to put a lot of trust into me as a person and a photographer, and my goal is to give you as much insight and information about me as I can.

My world spins around my sons, and yes, having four of them can make me dizzy for sure. My life is relative organised chaos, a whole lot of love and a huge amount of yelling “Get down from there”.

I could be typical and write about how much I love coffee and Netflix, but the real me loves John Farnham, Steve Irwin, Star Trek (the original series), owns the first 10 seasons of Blue Heelers on DVD (and watches them at least every second year), can quote random Red Dwarf lines at her husband, loves the MCU over the DCU and is such a nerd that I can understand every science based or nerd based joke from The Big Band Theory.

And when you meet me you’d never guess any of it….. gah…and I’m obsessed with the Keeping up with the Kardashians. There! I said it!

In all honesty, writing about myself is a bit of a challenge. I could write novels on each of my sons, my husband and everyone else I know, but what I am coming to realise is that I am a very proud small business owner, passionate newborn photographer and mum.

My work started as a hobby and has now become a huge part of my identity and an absolute passion. Photography has given me a meaningful creative outlet that I had been looking for for so long. And combining this with a love of working with children and families has created my perfect career.

The biggest surprise my families express at the end of their photography session is just how calm and relaxing the whole process is. Every step of the way through your session, your baby’s needs and safely are foremost. If your baby needs to feed, cuddle or be changed then that is what we do. Every single baby is so unique and are born full of personality. This is why I love what I do….

We have so much gorgeousness going on that you cant help but feel all the emotions of celebrating new life. My sessions include 4-5 beautiful prop sets ups that focus on your baby, and also include the option for parents and siblings to be photographed to. It is so much fun to see how adding that new little human can light up the world….
